Space 92 and Charles D unveil debut collaboration ‘The Bouncer’ on Drumcode

Drumcode alumni Space 92 and Charles D release their first collab single ‘The Bouncer’ Drumcode out today. Both tastemaker favourites, they are at home on world-renowned stages and revered labels.

France’s Space 92, a multi-#1-charting phenomenon and continuing best-selling Techno Peak Time Artist since 2020, produces techno with a touch of acid, influenced by everything from his love of 80s sci-fi and cheesy pop. He’s released on Drumcode (inc. 2023’s hit ‘Time’), Filth On Acid, Factory 93… and has just founded his own imprint TAKEOFF.

Italian born, NYC based producer Charles D is known for his signature blend of driving techno grooves and progressive elements. His productions have landed on Beatport’s Peak Time Techno charts since 2019. Charles D has a growing catalog of impactful releases on labels including Drumcode, Pryda Presents, Factory 93, Arcane, and more. Drumcode releases inc. ‘Yantee’ on DC’s A Sides Vol. 13 this year, and ‘Don’t Stop’ (2023). As well as performing globally, he also helms his ‘Synthesized’ radio show to share his favourite cuts with the masses.

‘The Bouncer’: sampling Kicks Like a Mule’s charismatic 90s cult hit of the same name, this one’s set to be a summer club favourite; pin-sharp production values, bounding techno beats, spacey hoovers and stab and insistent acid synths evoke a playful vibe, alongside the bouncer’s familiar battle cry ‘Y’name’s not down, you’re not coming in’. We’ve all been there… they’re playing our song.
