REVIEW: Goeran Meyer presenta Could Not Exist

There are artists who, in order to go beyond their sound, have to get rid of their original name and create another, but then there are others who, in order to go further, have to rediscover themselves again, to create a sound whose starting point is not born both from the attempt to cross borders and to recover them. This is the case of producer Goeran Meyer, who has just released “Could Not Exist ” on the MYR label.

Over a decade, Goeran Meyer has built a name with music that spans multiple genres. Diversity in music is at the core of it.

Meyer's sound has a common characteristic recognized by recurring themes; the nostalgia, melody and cosmic depth, that drags you, but without losing the energy.

The Hanna Haïs remix gives it a new dimension, giving a result as experimental as it is intense and addictive, which takes possession of oneself, while transporting us progressively, as few producers with any ease are willing to do. We don't know what the future holds, but we do know that this album is testimony to a turbulent and uncertain present, which will remain in our memories forever. Thanks to records like this, we can continue fighting for a better future.
