Uniting Souls Music is on a roll, with a string of several consecutive Top 10 charting releases on Beatport, including their latest offering, a new 4-track EP by Seattle rising star Gorio Tala. First off is “Authentic You,” a deep, driving house track, with a funky bass line, and a soulful, inspiring vocal mantra, calling on the listener to become the most authentic version of themselves through dancing. Jazzy keys float over the beat on the B side remix by Jaemus (San Diego-based dj/producer Josh Jackson), adding a sense of sophistication, playfulness, and warmth.
Next up is “Nu Life,” which features a hypnotic groove built on lush, organic percussion, and a captivating rhythm. Subtle melodic elements weave through the mix, creating an immersive, soulful atmosphere. The release closes with an energetic Afro-house remix by West Coast veteran Terry Jasinto. Terry's version of "Nu Life" pulses with tribal rhythms and intricate drum patterns. Elements of techno emerge through the use of atmospheric synth stabs and hypnotic, evolving pads, blending the organic energy of African-inspired percussion with the dark, immersive textures of techno.
