Can you tell us a little about your music experience? Where are you from / how did you get into music?

I’m born and raised in Montreal, Canada. My grandparents migrated here from Greece (I still ask them why? lol) My father was a wedding DJ when I was growing up so I got into music at a really young age. I’ve been DJing for 15 years and I’m excited to release my first artist album.

Who have been your main inspirations (both musical and in 'life')? And how have they affected your sound?

My dad has always been my number one supporter along the whole journey. Musically, I’ve evolved from big room rave music to the fun and sexy house music I enjoy creating now. The music I fell in love with long ago by the likes of Tiesto, Daft Punk, Bob Sinclar, David Guetta, Axwell and more are still inspirations to the music I am making today.

How would you define your sound?

Fun, feel good, energetic and made to dance away your summer nights to.

How has your sound evolved so far?

As a DJ I’m a music lover of all genres and especially sub genres of electronic music. So, I wouldn’t be able to define my sound in a specific genre because I love to play and create so many styles. My sound will probably be forever evolving with the music I enjoy playing live and the music that makes people dance.

What can you tell us about your last job? What inspired you? What do you want to convey?

I’ve been a professional DJ for the last decade, and seeing and hearing what works on the dance floor is the ultimate inspiration. I always want to convey and channel that energy when I’m in the studio and creating.

Are you the type of producer who can create music on the fly or do you need to be rooted in a studio?

I could create music on the fly but I feel more comfortable when I’m alone in my cozy studio.

What can you tell us about your production experience? What next productions can we expect after your album on Aquarius?

Production is forever evolving as well. I’ve been fiddling around with Logic Pro for over a decade now and still learning new things all the time. One thing is for sure, and it’s that this album is not the last. Expect a lot more music to come, and a focus on clubbier music when the world gets back to normal.

What can you tell us about your album 'Until We Dance'? What was your belief? What inspired you?

Until We Dance was made to lift people’s spirits and was coincidentally my way to cope with what was going on in the world. It was inspired by some of my favourite artists and by all the nightclubs I miss playing at. The album was conceived in lockdown and I hope people get to freely dance away their summer nights to it.

What can you tell us about your debut on the Aquarius label?

I’m very grateful for the label and helping me bring this album to life. I hope it is the first of many many more.

What can you tell us about the Montreal scene? Which producers would you highlight from Montreal?

Kaytranada from Montreal just won 2 Grammys! Super happy for him and glad he’s putting us on the map. There are so many talented producers and DJs in Montreal, but I want to give a big shoutout to Kevin Figs and Chuck for lending their talents on this album.

What projects are you working on right now?

A remixed album and lots of new music to come. A ‘world’ instrumental project, some disco house bangers and clubbier tracks.
